Jahan Loh is Singapore’s most iconic contemporary artist and one of Asia’s most successful street artists. Known for contextualising pop cultural references and well-known iconography, he has developed a unique style in merging traditional mediums with guerrilla aesthetics. His work is characterised by a balance of contrasts, and plays on popular imagery, cryptic wordplay and cultural nostalgia. He is also known for being the first artist to bring street art to galleries in both Singapore and China.
