Far East Organization and Far East Orchard, together with Sekisui House Ltd, is developing Woods Square, a new integrated commercial development located in the heart of Woodlands Central. Designed by DP Architects, Singapore’s largest architecture firm, Woods Square will be the first strata office development to be built at Woodlands Regional Centre — a new vibrant livework- play business hub that is being developed under the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)’s Master Plan for the Northern Gateway of Singapore.

The building will comprise four towers with small and large strata offices for sale and lease. Tower 1, the tallest of the four, will have 16 storeys, while Tower 2 will have 12 storeys.

The remaining two SOLO (Small Office Loft Office) blocks will have four storeys each. With office units spanning areas from 495 sq ft to 5,328 sq ft and floor-to-floor heights of up to 4.2m, Woods Square offers diverse options for enterprises looking for flexible business spaces away from the Central Business District and closer to the vast hinterlands of Malaysia.

The SOLO blocks, in particular, will house distinctive offices featuring high ceilings with floor-to-floor heights of 5m, and loft-style design to cater to the evolving work styles and space configurations demanded by new age business professionals. Woods Square will also have a business centre with an auditorium, theatrette and meeting spaces.

Keeping with Woodlands’ natural surroundings, the development will feature extensively landscaped areas and lush sky terraces with pavilions designed to encourage interaction and collaboration. Recreational facilities will include a gymnasium and swimming pool for office tenants to recharge and relax after a day at work.

Workspaces aside, the integrated development will also feature about 40 retail and F&B outlets, as well as a 5,400-sq ft childcare centre — for working parents to stay close to their children. Causeway Point shopping mall and the Woodlands Civic Centre are both a minute’s walk away, and will be accessible through direct links at the basement, providing a myriad of dining and shopping options as well as civic and everyday services.

Offices at Tower 1 and 2 with 4.2m floor-to-floor heights allow natural light to flow in and brighten the space.

Well Connected

In line with the many initiatives in place to reduce traffic congestion and transform Woodlands into a car-lite district, Woods Square will be connected by many bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly paths. Woods Square is a two-minute walk from Woodlands MRT station and bus interchange. Travelling will only get easier with time as links to the city via the upcoming Thomson-East Coast Line, and neighbouring Malaysia via the planned cross-border Rapid Transit System link, are developed in the coming years.
