Ashley Yeo

Ashley Yeo is a Singaporean artist best known for her passion for an unexpected and fragile medium, paper, and the traditional art of paper cutting. Her practice stems from private thoughts and ontological questioning, exploring themes of lightness and slowness. Other than paper, she also works with other materials such as ceramic, aluminium, and wood to create art objects and sculptures. She was the first Singaporean artist to be selected as one of the 30 finalists for the Loewe Craft Prize, London, UK (2018).
